Impostor Syndrome is the overwhelming feeling that you are undeserving and unworthy of your success and can be a major obstacle to achieving your goals.

Like most teenagers, I was unsure of myself and the world around me. Here I’ve written an open letter to my teenage self sharing the 5 top lessons to take through life.

Many people are not naturally confident and suffer from a lack of self-confidence. Here are some ways to get help and support to build our confidence.

In most scenarios, we can choose to spend as little time as we like around negative people. However, there are  people who aren’t so easy to escape.

You are no good to anyone if you don’t help yourself first! This is why you have to take care of yourself first.

Men and women communicate differently. What means one thing to a man can mean something completely different to a woman.

Here are some practices I’ve adopted to help me stay positive. I must admit it certainly makes my life a lot easier and, also the lives of those around me…lol!

I’ve always beaten to my own drum, but if you knew me 10 years ago, you would know confident was something I definitely was not!…

It’s inevitable that one will win over the other from time to time, but here are some models and theories I recommend to help you with Work and Life planning.

Negative thoughts and limiting beliefs can cause us to live in fear and hold us back from living our best lives.
We need to be proactive about overcoming our limiting beliefs.

I once read that only 8% of people stick to their New Year resolutions.
This is probably why I don’t make them anymore…lol. 

I am so grateful that the Time to Shine course gives those who attend renewed confidence. We can lose confidence in ourselves and abilities when we allow fear to hold us back.

One of the hardest lessons for me to learn was how to deal with rejection and setbacks and, still keep going. 

The simple answer to this question is yes, but nothing is ever simple is it?…

When I first saw this question, it made me sad, because the person who asked it must be struggling with how to love herself.

I think we all struggle with setting healthy boundaries, I know I certainly have in the past. 

when I was asked this question, I wanted to shout “HELP!!!” I mean how do I begin to answer a question like this?!

No matter what our goals are and how much we want to achieve them, we will always have our everyday lives to deal with.

I feel recognised and re-motivated.”

It’s essential that you are clear on why you need a mentor, understand their role and build a reciprocal relationship i.e. what is your mentor getting out of it?

None of us are perfect nor will we ever be. But not being perfect doesn’t make us simply imperfect, it’s just makes us uniquely ourselves.
